Name Place (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a multiplayer word game. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our application.

We collect minimal information necessary to provide the game experience:

• Player name (chosen by you, not your real name)
• Avatar selection
• Game session data (answers, scores, room codes)
• Anonymous authentication identifiers

We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, location data, or any other personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it.

The information we collect is used solely to:

• Enable multiplayer game sessions
• Display your chosen name and avatar to other players
• Calculate and display game scores
• Maintain game state during active sessions

Your player name and avatar are visible to other players in the same game session. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. Game data may be shared with our service providers (Supabase) solely for the purpose of hosting and operating the game.

Game data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Game session data is temporary and may be deleted after sessions end. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including Row Level Security policies ensuring players can only access data from their own game sessions.

Our app displays advertisements provided by third-party ad networks. These networks may collect anonymous device information (such as advertising identifiers) to serve relevant ads. We also offer an in-app purchase option to remove ads. Purchase information is handled securely through Google Play billing and RevenueCat, and we do not store your payment details.

Name Place is designed to be family-friendly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game uses anonymous authentication and does not require any personal details to play. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

You have the right to:

• Request access to your game data
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of any future data collection
• Stop using the app at any time without penalty

You can request deletion of all your data at any time. To delete your data:

• Visit our Data Deletion Page and follow the instructions
• Or email us at awnoorani@icloud.com with the subject line "Delete My Data"

When you request data deletion, we will permanently remove all data associated with your anonymous account, including game history, scores, chat messages, and purchase records. Deletion requests are processed immediately when using the in-app option, or within 48 hours when submitted via email.
